The Curls Have Come Off

Well, our youngest has lost all his curls – but I haven’t! Will wanted a haircut like Patrick’s, so mom and dad finally gave in on haircut day. I kept the curls, though – they’re all safe in a Ziploc that’s going to stay with me for a long, long time.

What a cutie! Patrick was so happy to have someone else’s head to feel – he chased Will down to pet him. :)

What do you think, Aunt Paula?

Snow!

Snow!

Snow!

Snow in Atlanta – and I mean enough to play in, for a bit anyway! We had some fun and laughs – especially when Miss Susan, Harrison, and Avery came to play!

Finding our New Look

We’re moving! No, not our physical home – just our virtual one! Thank goodness! We have our own domain on our own server, well our own part of a server :) I’m hoping to be able to share some homeschool creations that I’ve made for my brood. I’m also hoping to share more about my dh’s wonderful side business – making beautiful solid wood furniture and decor.

Getting this blog up might take some time – so please be patient – I want it to be as close to perfect as I can make it! Thanks for reading along.

Buttercup – Pittance – CuppyCat

Here’s a terrific photo that 5yo Wendy took today of her favorite critter, Buttercup. What do you think, Grandma??

Marbles for Fine Motors

Here’s Will and Wendy working on developing their fine motor skills. They both had oodles of fun transferring marbles from a (2 for $1) ramekin onto (6 for $1) suction cups with tongs or a spoon. The activity was presented on a small silver tray from the local dollar store – cheap, fun, useful – and yes, we’re still in jammies! Homeschool life is good.
